Native controller firmware was 12410 and everything was fine before i decided to update it. The latest available version is 15728. It was installed successfully, but RAID configuration utility stopped working. If I press CTRL+A during controller initialization, then after it boots completely and OS supposed to start, server hangs and start beeping very fast. If i do nothing while server is booting, everything is OK and I'm able to manage the controller from ASM, but BIOS utility is also important. What is wrong?
Response
Greetings from Adaptec,
Please provide the make, model and bios revision of the motherboard you are installing the card into. Please make sure that the BIOs of the motherboard is up to the latest version available from the manufacturer.
Boot the system normally and also get us a support archive from Adaptec Storage Manager (ASM). To obtain a support archive, log into ASM, right click the name of your system, then Select "Save Support Archive" from the dropdown menu. Once the file is saved, attach the file to an update to this question and we will examine the file and let you know our findings.

Hello, Support
The motherboard is ASUS P5E-V HDMI. The latest BIOS (0504) changed nothing. And the support archive is in the attachment.
Response
Greetings from Adaptec,
We have had several report on other cards in this family that when updated to the latest BIOS do not allow you to enter the bios while installed in an Asus P5e family motherboard. We are working on a permanent solution to the problem. At the present time we are reporting the issue to engineering to see if this can be permanently resolved. Once we get a response, we will be in contact with you.

Greetings from Adaptec,
We have received information from the Engineering liaison concerning the problem with the latest firmware on an Asus P5E series motherboard.
The problem has been confirmed and a solution is in the works which should resolve the problem. A new bios patch should be available within the next few weeks, which will resolve this issue. Currently your choice would be to either revert to the previous version of BIOS on the controller by performing a Mode 0 flash (refer to the following link for Mode 0 flash information: ***), or keep the current BIOS and wait for the New bios release and use ASM in the mean time to manage the array.

Thanks, so I'll wait for the new BIOS.
P.S. Fortunately I'm able to flash the elder one forcibly from ASM without low level manipulations.
